Client Overview
Kellyville Pets is one of Australia's largest independent pet stores. Their store is best described as an experience, rather than a trip to the shops, with many customers comparing it to a zoo. From snakes and spiders, right through to puppies and kittens, and everything in between, you can find it all at Kellyville Pets. The business has built its success on its ability to provide day-making service to every single customer that walks through their doors. The focus has always been on face-to-face experiences, but as the market continues to shift online, the business has had no choice but to move into the digital realm.
Project Overview
Covid presented businesses with a number of challenges, forcing them to be dynamic and find new ways to reach their target market. In line with the above, we were tasked with creating an online version of Kellyville Pets' in-store reptile workshops. We didn't want to simply film a live course and chuck it online, though. We identified a clear opportunity to create something that was truly unique and highly valuable to a worldwide market. The result is Kellyville Pets Pet School. A world of pet education, conservation and exploration.

We built each Masterclass from the ground up.
Pre-production
We planned out the structure and content for each Masterclass, created the shot lists, planned the locations and prepared all the call sheets. A successful production requires time and effort in the pre-production stages.
Production
We directed every second of footage that was filmed for the Masterclasses. We also filmed a chunk of the footage on our own. This allowed us to capture every single piece of footage that was required for the client.
Post Production
We are the editors. Having control over the pre-produciton and production stages allows us to really thrive in post production. We carefully select the music, SFX and other graphics for every single video within each Masterclass.

The Frog Masterclass is our newest Masterclass. We learned so much about these fascinating amphibians and had an absolute blast putting this together! We did it all, from planning the shoot days, to literally getting our feet wet filming frogs and of course, the hours spent behind the computer screen piecing each section of footage togther.
