Starfish Aquatics
Learn to Swim Promo Videos
Client Overview
Starfish Aquatics is a newly established Swim School in the heart of North Richmond in Sydney's West. The business has established a strong foundation of loyal customers by providing the highest quality facilities and unmatched customer service. Starfish believes that everybody has a right to feel safe and confident in the water, as swimming is an integral part of being Australian.
Project Overview
Until recently, Starfish Aquatics hasn't put many resources behind its digital presence. Instead, the business has focused on word-of-mouth to maintain growth. We were approached by the business owner and we were asked to create a series of videos that show off the business and its main services. The brief stated that the finished videos were going to be used in a social media ad campaign, so we kept that in mind during the entire process.
This 90-second video is the focal point of the video campaign. It acts as an elevator pitch that delivers the Starfish Aquatics USP, highlights the facilities, and introduces the main services.

It utilised the narration of the centre manager, a learn to swim coach and a customer to add credibility.

After watching this video, you will feel like you know who Starfish Aquatics are and what their vision is.
We built each video from the ground up.
Pre-production
We planned out the structure and content for each video, created the shot lists, planned the locations and prepared all the call sheets. A successful production requires time and effort in the pre-production stages.
Production
We directed every second of footage that was filmed for these videos. This allowed us to capture every single piece of footage that was required for the client.
Post Production
We are the editors. Having control over the pre-produciton and production stages allows us to really thrive in post-production. We carefully select the music, SFX and other graphics for every single video.
We can cut multiple versions of your main promo video, so that it can be used in different applications. Here's an example of a 17 second cut of the main Learn to Swim video, making it suitable for social media and short advertisements.
